Blog 1: India the country I would like to visit

Traveling is one of my passions. If I could I would travel throughout the whole world, but now that I am a stundent I can´t afford that. Maybe one day I will follow that dream.

I have traveled to some countries though, but there is a country would love to visit one day and that is India. It is a country rich in cultures and it has come to my atention that the people there live in a very different way than us, and that is something I would like to experience in my own skin.

I don´t know a lot of the country, all I know is that they are really devoted to their religion, and that they are a very unique society. It is a life or death experience crossing to the other side of the road. Also I know that cows are sacred to them and that you can see them walking on the streets.

First of all I would stay there for a few months, maybe for two. The first month I would travel through the country and talk to the citizens, that is the best way to get to know the culture. If I could, stay in their houses and get to know their day to day life, eat their food, and learn how they speak (not the whole language, but some words and how they express themselves).

The second month I would stay in the city I liked the most and maybe rent a room for myself. There I would live like them, go to the supermarket, walk around the city, talk to people, mostly get to practice what I learnt with the people I met traveling. Maybe If it is possible go to a spiritual retire. Yes, like the movie "Eat, Pray, Love". Maybe it is a little cliche but it is something I think you can only experience there.

As I said above, I would only live there for a few months, the time it takes to absorve indian vibes. Maybe if I like it there it could be a place I would live in, but not for a long time, that includes working at something. But my firt aproach would be getting to know how they live in order to understand their culture.

So maybe one day I will go there and feel the indian traffic or see if it is true that cows walk on the streets.
